Carnage in the Cage lightweight champion, New Zealand’s Kieran Joblin will make his promotional return on March 5 against Lismore’s Brentin Mumford. The title fight showdown has been announced for the show’s main event.
This fight will mark Joblin’s third appearance for CITC, in which the 27 year-old holds victories over Gokhan Turkyilmaz and Taela Kelly. Outside the promotion, Joblin boasts recent wins against former UFC fighter Ben Wall and Spain’s Oriol Gaset.
Mumford earned a shot at the title after defeating Sam Kitchener back in September.
The only other fight announced for the event at this early stage is a middleweight title fight between the Gold Coast’s Anthony Johns and Sydney’s Randall Ray.
