    Aleksandra Albu reportedly off UFC Fight Night 33 Card

    Recently signed Russian fighter Aleksandra Albu has been forced to withdraw from her scheduled UFC Fight Night 33 bout against Julie Kedzie due to an undisclosed injury.

    The two were scheduled to clash at the event set to take place Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Queensland, Australia on December 7.

    News of the withdrawal was first confirmed via SI.com with Albu’s opponent Julie Kedzie wasting no time in suggesting a replacement opponent – Rin Nikai from Japan. Nikai recently took a controversial decision win over Kedzie’s sparring partner Tara La Rosa back in September however Nikai not currently under contract with the UFC.

    It is unclear if Kedzie will remain on the card with a replacement opponent to be found however adopted Australian Hector Lombard is also wanting to squeeze into a already full card.
