Russian standout Murad Machaev ended Gokhan Turkyilmaz’s two-fight win streak at Dare: Rebels of MMA on Saturday night in Bangkok.

Turkyilmaz was submitted in the opening round with a rear-naked choke.

The loss follows the Integrated MMA lightweight’s win over Taela Kelly at Carnage in the Cage last month and Seok Mo Kim at Pro FC 8 back in August.

Living up to the alias ‘Strangler’, Machaev improves his pro record to 13-1 with the win and makes it 4 wins on the trot in the process.

In the main event, American Joe Ray submitted Filipino fighter Ole Laursen with a guillotine choke in the third round. The show was held at Club Insanity in Bangkok, Thailand.
