Only days after winning his debut Mixed Martial Arts fight, Paul Slowinski returns back to the country of birth in Poland where the accomplished kickboxer will have his second MMA fight this weekend.

Slowinski will come up against 35 year-old Marcin Rozalski on the KSW 24 fight card scheduled to occur at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland this Saturday (Early Sunday morning in Australia).

Based out of Adelaide, South Australia, Slowinski made his MMA debut in front of his home-crowd on Saturday night and came out unscathed as he stopped his opponent, New Zealand fighter Leamy Tato. Slowinski knocked down his opponent with a head-kick before finishing it with punches on the ground.

Inside the kickboxing ring, Slowinski has won many accomplishments including regional K-1 tournament championships and wins over the likes of Ben Edwards, Peter Graham, Zabit Samedov, Mighty Mo, and Carter Williams. Born in Poland, Slowinski moved to Australia along with his mother and brother before starting training with Alan Wong at the Flinders Muaythai gym and also spent time training with Ernesto Hoost in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

His opponent, Marcin Rozalski also comes from a kickboxing background and has competed around Europe in events like K-1 & A-1. Rozalski make his MMA debut back in 2011, and all but one of his five career fights have taken place in the KSW promotion. He will go into the bout with a 3-2 record, most recently defeating experienced Rodney Glunder back in September, 2012.

KSW is regarded as one of the biggest shows in Eastern Europe, and this event will be the second consecutive sell-out with a crowd of over 10,000 expected to be in attendance.

The event will be headlined by an open-weight bout between former strongman competitor Mariusz Pudzianowski & Sean McCorkle, while in the semi-main event Olympic Judo Gold medalist Pawel Nastula returns to face Karol Bedorf.
