The Australian Fighting Championship (AFC) returns once again with its next installment taking place this Saturday night. AFC 14 will take place at the Melbourne Pavilion headlined by two title fights, with both the light-heavyweight and welterweight titles going on the line. Ten fights are scheduled for the card, with talent from all over Australia looking to put on a show.

In the headliner, Victoria’s Jamie Abdallah will be defending his light-heavyweight title, which he captured earlier this year at AFC 12 where he stopped Brazilian Daniel Almeida within the first minute. Abdallah, based out of the XFC gym in Narre Warren will be taking on Randall Rayment from Australian Top Team who is also scheduled to compete in China later in the year on Rebel Fighting Championship.

In the co-main event current champion Corey Nelson will be putting his welterweight belt on the line against fellow New South Welshman and former The Ultimate Fighter alumni Manuel Rodriguez. The highly touted match-up will be a rematch of their 2009 battle, where Rodriguez came out victorious by first round submission. Both fighters are coming off impressive first round stoppages over former Brace tournament finalist Steve Micallef.

Also on the card, local Judoka Kitt Campbell comes up against Stu Dare from Tasmania while in another fight Lance Ettia looks to keep his good form going when he takes on AFC regular Mike Vaotuua. Undefeated Tasmanian Rob Wilkinson has stepped up on late notice to take on Daniel Schuardt, meanwhile hometown favourite and Australian Judo Olympian Ivo Dos Santos returns back to action against AFC newcomer Michael Barber. Dos Santos will be aiming to redeem himself after coming off the unfortunate end of a devastating KO loss at AFC 13.

If you can’t make it down to the Melbourne Pavilion on the night, you can catch the live stream on the Fight News Australia live Fights Page for US$16.99. The event begins at 7PM EST.
