Massachusetts based Yorgan De Castro pulled off a spectacular walk-away knock-out against Brisbane’s Justin Tafa. The two opened up the main card which took place at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

The heavyweights were never going to go to a decision, as both started throwing bombs early, Tafa arguably landing the better.

That would change two minutes in though, as Tafa chased De Castro against the cage. Both threw a big right and with Tafa’s forward momentum, 32-year-old Castro’s crisp right hook landed first, dropping Tafa to the canvas.

De Castro walked away to celebrate the victory while the referee attended Tafa. The win came only 2:10 into the fight.

“Thank you, Australia. Beautiful place. I wish a quick recovery for my opponent,” De Castro told the crowd in his post-fight speech.

“This is my time. I am born for this. I want to thank Dana White and the UFC for allowing me to showcase my skill. Now I want my bonus and want to fight again in December.”

Regiment Training Centre trained De Castro moves to 6-0 in his pro career which includes five knock-outs. Tafa drops to 3-1 in his UFC debut.
