In what is fast becoming a welcome trademark of the Victorian muay thai promotion, Warriors Way will host yet another stacked 4-Man lightweight tournament to feature on its last card of the year.

The recently announced line-up includes Ramesh Habib, Quan Trinh, Indigo Boyd and Albert Xavier. All four fighters represent the highest level of talent in the division in Victoria, and in the case of Habib, the country.

Dependent on the draw, an enticing rematch between Habib and Boyd could feature on the night.

The last time the two fighters met on Warriors Way 21 in the lightweight tournament, Boyd caused what many considered to be the upset of the night, stopping Habib with a vicious spinning elbow that opened him up and caused the doctor to stop the fight in the second round.

Headlining the card will be the local favourite and newly crowned World Muay Thai Council (WMC) Australian Lightweight Champion, River ‘The Filipino Flash’ Daz against a yet to be named opponent.

Warriors Way 22 will take place at its traditional home, the Shopping Town Hotel in Doncaster, on Saturday 13th October.
