Australia will get it’s first locally produced UFC show with the launch of UFC Fight Week, which is set to premiere Thursday, 16 April at 9pm EST on Fox Sports 505.
The show was confirmed today via a press-release from Fox Sports Australia.
UFC fans will be able to get their weekly fix of UFC news, results and highlights from the numerous shows in what will be 30-minute time frames. It will be hosted by Fox Sports presenter Tara Rushton alongside current UFC flyweight Richie Vaculik and former UFC title challenger Elvis Sinosic.
Appearing on tomorrow’s premiere as a guest will be current UFC flyweight Demetrious Johnson as he prepares for his UFC 186 main event bout. Also Australian Robert Whittaker makes an appearance to discuss his bout against Brad Tavares next month in Adelaide.
