Megan Anderson’s homecoming fight could not have gone better.
Fighting in front of her home Australian crowd for the first time in five years, Anderson submitted Zarah Fairn dos Santos with a triangle choke in the first round.
“It’s amazing to come home to Australia with the best fans in the world thanks so much for the support,” Anderson said to Jon Anik in her post-fight interview.

Fairn dos Santos came out aggressive in the first round but Anderson took her down before getting the mount and eventually the triangle choke.
The win is Anderson’s second since joining the UFC and improved her professional record to 10-4.
