Unlike last year where the Australian UFC event was shown on free-to-air, this years UFC 127 show will be shown on Mainevent Pay Per View.

Mainevent has confirmed that they will broadcast the show being headlined by former UFC champion B.J Penn taking on Jon Fitch in a welterweight showdown. Event cost starts at $39.95 (plus G.S.T) for the pay per view.

Last year's UFC 110 was shown on free-to-air channel One HD and was widely rumoured locally that the same would be occuring for UFC 127.

UFC 127 hits the Acer Arena in Sydney on February 27 and will feature a record five Australian or Australian based fighters.
