Heavyweight prospect Tai Tuivasa took on former NRL representative John Hopoate in the main event of the second Combat8 event which was held at the Newcastle Panthers club on 1 December, 2012. Tuivasa a promosing footballer himself, has been making quite a name for himself in the heavyweight ranks winning all fights he has contested by KO or TKO.
